There are 3 booklets that can be purchased from Eaton Estate Office; one about the Gardens, one about the carriage collection and one about the railway.

This year HRH The Prince of Wales visited the Eaton Estate village of Aldford. He laid the corner stone of a new Affordable Housing initiative and met the local people. In the evening there was a ball for the Prince's Trust. For the full story please click here.

Garden Open Days

Open Day

Eaton Hall gardens open to the public three times a year in order to raise funds for charity.

The dates for 2010 are Sunday 4th April, Sunday 30th May, Saturday 24th July and Sunday 29th August. Each day starts at 1.30pm and the gardens are open until 5.30pm. Gates open at 1pm for parking only.

This year the charities benefitting from the proceeds are: Countess of Chester Hospital's Relative Comfort Appeal, Chester Youth Club and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (Cheshire Branch).

Refreshments are available to purchase and Chester Wind Band will be playing.

There are also several exhibits to see while you are here. To preview these please choose "Exhibits' from the menu on the left.

Entry fees are £5 per Adult or £1 per Child.

Those wishing to take a train ride should arrive early to avoid disappointment - tickets sell out very quickly on the day.

Registered charities can apply to benefit from future Garden Open Days. Letters of application should be sent on charity headed notepaper to:
