There are 5 brochures that can be purchased from Eaton Estate Office.  They are; The Gardens, The carriage collection, The railway Halls of Eaton and The Grosvenors of Eaton.

 

Garden Open Days

Eaton Hall Gardens Charity Open Days 2014

Eaton Hall Gardens are open to the public four times a year in order to raise funds for local charities. The dates for 2014 are:

Sunday 20th April

Sunday 25th May

Sunday 27th July

Sunday 24th August

 

All events run from 10.30am to 5pm (Gates open at 10am for parking only and last admission at 4.30pm).

Price: Adults £6 Children £1.50

Eating and drinking: Refreshments and light bites are available to purchase and all proceeds go to the chosen charities – see below..

Travel/Access: Entry via Eccleston/Aldford/Belgrave gates (coaches Belgrave gate only)

During the day: Enjoy a ride on the Eaton Railway powered by  Katie the engine. Tickets for morning trains are sold from 10.30am and for afternoon trains from 1.30pm. Train rides are very popular and tickets are subject to availability.

May  I bring a picnic?

Yes, picnics are welcome but please take all your rubbish away with you or use the bins provided.

May I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a lead at all times. Please take care to clear up after your dog.

Do you have motorised scooters or wheelchairs for hire?

There are three standard wheelchairs available for use on the day and these are provided on a first come, first served basis and cannot be pre-booked.

There are ramps into the indoor exhibits and disabled toilet facilities.

Is the Hall open?

No, Eaton Hall is a private home and is never opened to the public.

May  I bring a coach trip?

Yes, coaches are welcome but coaches should use the Belgrave Gate only. Please call Tel: 01244 684400 to advise us in advance if you are bringing a coach. One payment can be made for the group. Cheques should be made payable to Grosvenor Estate and presented at the event entrance. We will arrange for this amount to be split between the four charities.

How can a charity apply for support?

Registered charities can apply to benefit from future Garden Open Days.  Letters of application should be sent on charity headed notepaper by the end of April to be considered for a Garden Open Day the following year to:-
