The Eaton Estate is predominantly agricultural. In the recent past the focus was traditionally placed on efficient, intensive farming, making the land work as hard as possible in order to get the highest yields. Now however the emphasis has shifted, and the estate seeks to balance quality farm practices with conservation techniques designed to protect and enhance the natural environment.
