There are 3 booklets that can be purchased from Eaton Estate Office; one about the Gardens, one about the carriage collection and one about the railway.

This year HRH The Prince of Wales visited the Eaton Estate village of Aldford. He laid the corner stone of a new Affordable Housing initiative and met the local people. In the evening there was a ball for the Prince's Trust. For the full story please click here.

Responsible for a great many properties and some important architecture, conservation has always been high on the Eaton Estate agenda.

Accordingly there is a rolling programme of refurbishment and maintenance on the estate. With all Eaton properties work is undertaken in such a way as to maintain the best of the old whilst utilising the most advanced new technologies.

In particular the estate is starting to make important advances with renewable technology, a project known internally as Green Grosvenor. Naturally this poses a number of challenges when restoring and refurbishing buildings which are centuries old.
