There are 3 booklets that can be purchased from Eaton Estate Office; one about the Gardens, one about the carriage collection and one about the railway.

This year HRH The Prince of Wales visited the Eaton Estate village of Aldford. He laid the corner stone of a new Affordable Housing initiative and met the local people. In the evening there was a ball for the Prince's Trust. For the full story please click here.

Cheshire

Cheshire is a landscape of incredible natural diversity, from internationally important estuaries, meres and mosses through nationally significant examples of woodlands, grasslands and lowland heaths to individual trees, hedgerows and ponds of local importance

This variety is echoed on the Eaton Estate although here it marches in hand with the uniformity and orderliness of a well-run estate, one which has developed over hundreds of years through quality husbandry and well considered restraint.

The distinctive character of both the physical and built environment at Eaton is thus defined by its long period of ownership by the Grosvenor family. This has resulted in a landscape of unique features including well-sited, well-managed woodlands, long, well-maintained drives and picturesque estate villages and farmsteads.
