HRH The Prince of Wales visited the Eaton Estate village of Aldford. He laid the corner stone of a new Affordable Housing initiative and met the local people. In the evening there was a ball for the Prince's Trust. For the full story please click here.

Management

The Eaton Estate is led by a management team of department heads, each of whom has a specialist skill set.

Terry Herron
Head Forester

Terry joined the estate in January 2008. He is a Chartered forester with over 25 years of experience in both Woodland and Countryside Management having previously held posts with The National Trust, Halifax Estates and more latterly UPM Tilhill.

In liaison with the Land Agents office, Terry and his team fulfil a broad spectrum of responsibilities which include direct forestry works, grounds maintenance and landscaping as well as the management of Eaton Park and its herd of fallow deer. The department works closely with the estate’s Builder’s Yard, Gardens team, as well as Grosvenor Farms and estate farm tenants. The forestry team also plays an important part in helping to organise various events such as the annual bonfire night and charity open days.
